Avstar Aviation uses the ,Polaris FK9, for our National Pilots License training and towards the Private Pilots License course.

We also utilise Piper Cherokee 140's and 180's for ab-initio flight training. These aircraft are easy to fly,yet have all the aspects of industry standard aircraft which make it easier to convert onto more complex aircraft in the latter stages of training

For night rating, and basic instrument training, we use either a Piper Cherokee 180 which is instrument equipped, or our Piper Arrow. For advanced instrument training, and commercial licence preparation, we use a Piper Arrow 180 This aircraft has retractable gear, and a variable pitch propeller.  It is a comfortable and quiet aircraft that is fully IF equipped.

For multi-engine training, and final commercial licence preparation, we use a Beechcraft Baron B55. This is a fantastic training aircraft which allows the instructors to completely familiarise the student with all aspects of asymmetric flying. It is also a high performance twin engine aircraft of the type typically flown in the industry.

The students will learn to handle the high work load involved when flying an aircraft like this. It is also fully IF equipped for instrument flying.

For Turbine training we have 3 different aircraft that can be utilized

The Beechcraft B200

The Beechcraft E90

The Piper Cheyenne
